    Right now BI5 is randomly picking 192.168.1.20:81 as the local UI3 address. How can I change that to say 201 instead of 20? I can't seem to edit the entry on the webserver tab in Settings. Thanks!

    Replacing xps 8930

    Hi - have a Dell xps 8930 and it runs great with about 10 cameras. However, it just gave up the ghost and so I’d appreciate your thoughts on some key features I should look for in a replacement. I’m hoping to spend under 1000 if possible and hopefully still get good overall performance.

    Thanks that helped get me to login page. But at least on MS Edge and Chrome I get this error below. I allowed ALL cookies on Chrome and that didn't change anything. Your web server session was lost, probably because of a problem with the session cookie. Redirecting to login page.

    Order of cams?

    When I changed the group drop down, the order looked like I wanted but wasn't cascading to the iPad. I moved one cam back and forth, and I think that forced it to "resave" the order. Seems to work now (so far).

    I don't see that it addresses the "order" of the cameras. If I put my front door camera as the first camera in BI, it shows up as the 8th camera in UI3.

    I can edit the BI screen to re-arrange the Cams. However, I have a Group called Group A let's say, and I view those Cams on an iPad via UI3. The cams on the iPad don't follow the order of cams on BI desktop computer. How can I re-arrange the cameras showing up on the iPad?

    So I did what I think you suggested - turned off profiles 0 through 7 (day/night/etc) for the 36 presets I didn't need. Seems to work now. Bit of a pain. What do you mean precisely by "grey out"? THANKS EITHER WAY.

    Yeah I just checked again - it find/inspects even without me pushing that button. Greying out doesn't help either. As soon as I re-open the config box in BI, it shows me all 40 presets again.

    Can't clear them all (only some) on Cam (silly interface). I think the issue is this... when you go into PTZ setting in BI, BI re-loads the presets from the Camera. There should be a button to only manually do this. Or a checkmark to not re-load in the future when editing that camera. Not sure...

    BI has up to 40 presets. I only need sat 5 for a camera, with autocycle. So I never want to go to preset 6, 7, etc. but no matter what I do I can’t get BI to stop calling all 40 presets. Help please?

    Getting mic to work

    Thanks guys. The description on Amazon elsewhere says "mic built in". Clearly bad tracking of models. The online manual doesn't describe how to connect the audio wires to an external mic. Judging from the picture, anyone have a suggestion on a good mic to buy and how to splice it?

    I have the camera below, and the camera settings (via IP address) clearly have audio on. I also have audio on checked for BI. But not getting any audio? Am I missing something obvious? THANKS!
