Hi - have a Dell xps 8930 and it runs great with about 10 cameras. However, it just gave up the ghost and so I’d appreciate your thoughts on some key features I should look for in a replacement. I’m hoping to spend under 1000 if possible and hopefully still get good overall performance.

HP Elitedesk g4-800 SFF with an i5-8500 is a recommended machine, and will run Windows 11 because it has TPM 2.0 required by microsoft to run the OS.
This guy had 9 available 2 days ago. now 5.

if you want to stay with Dell and are ok with a small tower, these are nice, esp. if you want to add a full size graphics card at some point.

they run great....the i5-8500 is running 18 cams and a windows version of Nightowl to see about 8 legacy cameras on Coax.

The next generation newer is the Dell 3640, and 3650, and 3660. But prices jump for each newer generation.
The XPS 8930 looks to be the same 8th generation i5-i7 as my machines.
It could be the Power supply quit, or the processor quit.
If you really like what you have maybe you can throw some parts at it.
or if you know anybody that could check it out and see if it's the PSU or the CPU.
