I upped the bitrate to 8192 and turned OFF Backlight The video quality looks about the same as before - no change@tng5737 up the bitrate to 8192 and make white balance outdoor instead of auto and run backlight as low as you can go (but better to not use at night if possible).
How about make a default to all settings? How is the daytime pics?I upped the bitrate to 8192 and turned OFF Backlight The video quality looks about the same as before - no change
something is pulsing as well. what is that?I set the controls to 50 but not sure what you meant by set WDR to Auto. Here is a snap of my new settings and a short vid of the results
Have you done these steps ? Be sure sharpness is set to zero for night mode.Changing to 10 made no difference. I looked at this with DMSS and see the same video quality issues and pulsations. I think I will return this to Andy's store on Amazon for a replacement. I will update this thread when I get a new camera installed - might take a few days though! Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
Are you sure it reset ? You must select the wifi and enter the password.I RESET the cam but now it connects to another hot spot that is not mine and I cannot access. It is grabbing 192.168.3.xxx while my domain is 192.168.1.xxx I can find no way to force it to mine. But the good news is that the Doorbell still rings, HA!
