I'm looking for the latest available firmware for Dahua NVR5216-8P-4KS2E
Current version is 3.216.0000000.0 2018-05-30

Hopefully someone's gonna point me to the right download link.

I can't find any version for NVR5216-8P-4KS2E.

Searching for NVR5216-8P in dahua's website results in NVR5216-8P-I or NVR5216-8P-I/L .... not NVR5216-8P-4KS2E

I'd appreciate it if someone provides a direct link to "NVR5216-8P-4KS2E" newer firmware.

I only found for "16P", no idea if it is for 8P:

So, does anyone know where can I find newer firmware ? The dahua's website seems like a dead end. Nothing there for NVR5216-8P-4KS2E

It has firmware link, it also has the correct model: NVR5208/16/32-8P/16P-4KS2/4KS2E

I can't find it. I scrolled through 30 pages looking at every "NVR5XXXX" link - nothing.

This is not really about confident or not, has some guys brick their NVRs when update the latest new fw. And not easy for end users to bring the NVR back again by serial port flash.
NVR has V1 and V2, use different hardware, so fw also different. Just tell you the risks and make sure you update with the right way.

I'm not going to argue with you Andy, but what you are saying isn't exactly brand inspiring. It shows lack of support and major confusion when it comes to software updates. So thanks for hammering my point home. If you felt insulted, I apologize, but I'm not going to sugar coat it. I know I will come under fire here, because you're a sponsor, but I have my opinions. If you agree or not, I don't care.
