Upgrade 5.3.3 to 5.4.0 for DS-2CD2335-I

Hi guys,

I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to help me update my new DS-2CD2335-I camera to version 5.4.0? I only ask as I bought two cameras from the cheap chinese sellers on ebay and one came with version 5.3.3 and the other with 5.4.0....and there seems to be a few more options with the 5.4.0 - so i was looking to bring them both to the same version, but the seller tells me I cant do this, but surely I should be able to if one of the identical cameras is already at version 5.4.0?!

Any help or pointers would me much appreciated?

Lol!
The seller will have a reason for saying this - sounds like the camera may have hacked-to-English firmware installed.
Maybe ask the seller for a copy of the 5.4.0 firmware

Indeed I believe it does!

I'll give that a go, although I think the answer will be "go away" in Chinese lol
