Can someone tell from the labels on the outside of the box, what region this camera is for? And if it has upgradable firmware? Or do I have to open the box to get access to additional labels? (I do not have access to open this box)

You need to connect the camera and get the serial number from there to find out the region.

So the region is WR <- World/multilanguage.
