Hi

So I have 5 dahua ip cams, however these all run on old software versions of 2015-11-06.
I would like to update them, however searching the dahua wiki / firmware finder tool I get 0 results for my cam.

device type: IPC-HDBW4300E-AS
software version: 2.420.0009.0.R, build : 2015-11-06
WEB Version3.2.1.305503
ONVIF Version2.4.1
S/N 2K02EFDPAG00012

Anyone knows where to find a download page ? I will be updating them with smartpss .
What benefits could I expect from better firmware ? Is it only bug fixes or will I get better video ?

Thx

Have you looked through the EmpireTech Andy thread, here - EmpireTech Andy It may take some digging but you should find it there. If the cameras are working OK, why upgrade firmware? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

It MAY improve the image a little but there's no guarantee. Keep in mind that, generally, to improve image you need to improve the sensor and/or lens.

So will there not be any beter image quality or so when upgrading a 2015 firmware that is 5 years old to a newer one ?
If the cameras are working without technical issues, it's best to leave them alone.
