Just FYI:

I've updated both my Annke C500 (I51DL) and my AC500 (I51EL) to Hikvision firmware IPCE_E10_EN_STD_5.7.11_230308 via the webinterface.
Both work fine, and there seem to be some new settings in the camera.
Unfortunately they still require the plugin to be installed for the liveview.

Found a newer version, V5.7.12_SP1 E10 (2023-06-14).
Which also seems to be working fine.

You won’t get any advantages from the hikvision firmware, but there are some disadvantages. loss of definition of person, car, resolution will drop to 4mp.
going back to the ANNKE firmware will not be so easy.

on new cameras there are no problems with switching to 4mp, after the firmware there will still be 5 megapixels, but the resolution may change, it won’t be “3k”

I know about the disadvantages.
I use Frigate as an NVR, so loss of those functions is not a problem for me.
Resolution is indeed 4MP now.

Why is it so hard to restore the original Annke firmware for some people or cameras?
To test, I just flashed it back via the web interface on my C500 and it works fine again as an Annke camera with 3K instead of the lower Hikvision resolution.
