I think he deserves some time off once in a while. 5 days is nothing.Anybody else getting edgy about the length of time that has passed since the last update.

It was said in jest?I think he deserves some time off once in a while. 5 days is nothing.
Not sure what that means, am I missing something?Note that you need to disable all the “Search For” options to check the link that you set, without auto-search
Thanks! Direct Disk recording was not active. Switching to that solved itDirect Disk recording is active? Overlays diabled?
Object size 550, contrast 12, make time 0.1 is usually where I start. If there are nuisance alerts I start bumping up the contrast21 pages is a lot to digest on this one. I did get my substreams working with 6 cameras and dropped my CPU from ~50% to about 4% - 9% !! There IS a God!!!
After I got it working, I read through the last 4 or 5 pages here and felt safe upgrading to the newest update .19 -- all is well....
Motion detection. I went in and created new detection zones for each camera.
QUESTIONS:
What settings work well for you generally for object size and contrast? I reduced them from previous settings, but I woke up this morning to find virtually NO motion recordings. Only one camera recorded a parade of bugs for me to review ....
I have my cams set to take a pic every 10 minutes. The pic is a shitty substream pic now instead of a shot from the main stream. Where/How do I change that so I get some nice crisp full-res images?
but if the substream is being used for motion detection, and the sub stream is say D1 - 704x480, aren't you setting up detection rules for an object that takes up 78% of your image?Object size 550, contrast 12, make time 0.1 is usually where I start.
