Dahua eyeball camera mounting - it sees too much of my wall. Any advice for installation/mounting?

I just installed this camera using the waterproof wall mount. Even with the camera aimed as far away from the wall as possible, there's still quite a bit of the wall in the camera's view (probably takes up about 30% of the field of view). Are there any better ways to mount this camera?

    In Ceiling Fish Eye Camera

I am looking at installing a fisheye camera in my kitchen. I am looking at going with Hivision for my outside cameras, but really like the low profile install of the Avigilon H5A ceiling mount. Just so it doesn't look a big camera in the room. I couldn’t find another camera that provided the...

    Hidden/Incognito Outdoor Placement Ideas?

Hello, I live in New Orleans and I have the largest Hikivision PTZ’s in the front of my home and in the back. They are connected to my Blue Iris machine. They are great. My only issue is they are so big that they instantly deter anyone from doing anything, I understand that’s the point, but my...

Any POE Cameras for Blue iris with an internal POE connection?

Good Day All, Are there any good cameras for blue iris that hook up the way Unifi G4 cameras do internally? I've mainly only used Dahua/Hik cams for Blue iris. Love the cameras, but I need some low profile cameras running through brick, so don't want to have ugly boxes that the cameras are...

Tips on how to mount bullet camera on soffit for aiming?

I have some Lorex LNB8111-C bullet cameras. I'm wanting to mount them under the soffit, but I'll only be able to adjust the pitch of the camera. It doesn't twist side to side when in that position. Do they make a box or something that I can mount to the camera to that will allow it to twist...

Can Lorex bullet cam rotate around the base?

I have a Lorex LNB4173 bullet cam that I'm installing and am a little surprised to find it doesn't seem to be able to rotate around the axis perpendicular to the mounting base. If I mount it on the ceiling, it seems to be fixed pointing in that direction. I can move it up or down, but not around...

Newb... Excited but seeking some recommendations on Dahua cameras and locations.

Hello all, I have read through the cliff notes and ordered everything I need (PC for BI, PoE Switch, Cat5 cable, HD's etc.). The only thing I have left to order are the cameras. I will be ordering Dahuas from Andy as from what I can tell they have a very good price to performance ratio. The...

Best way to mount under eaves?

The eaves of my garage are not parallel to the ground. They slant with the pitch of the roof. I have a cable drop coming out of the wood covering the rafters where I intend to install a camera. However, because of the angle of the roof, the camera will essentially point at the ground. Any...
