On Demands are AWESOME-( Endless Showers)--just do not get the Electric ones - total piles. I have had my 2 Gas ones for 20+ years. 1 is electric ignition the other runs off Impeller for Spark when water is turned on. I will always have Hot water as long as I have gas and water PSI

TY that worked..and NO to both- find did not find the Cams just Generic-No drop downs in the main nor the sub stream

A bit of back ground. ----Working off of BI 5.3.4----Want to upgrade BI but awaiting a 8700K+MoBo I am trying to snag. Any way the newer Cams (Just purchased from ANY during the Sale) are not showing up in find/detect. So I just did Generic/ONVIF and set Static IP's for the cams. After setting...

RUN/get some Ground Rated Cat 5e cable and put it 1 inch under ground. If the owner has a fit about it pull it out.

I totally agree 5e is more than enough for IPCAMS.................

@wittaj - Is that why with only 1 cam I am showing -- -- for my Substream in BI ? (General-on the Cam settings)

I have My Cams and BI all on 1 Vlan. That Vlan is blocked from getting to the net at all. But 1 exception to the BI -IP address to get what it needs. Still not sure it is working as planned but that will come later.

Well, I figured it out..BI Restart fixed the problem. Who woulda thunk it. :smash:

only using 1 CAM to TEST atm.....all my settings are about the Same only my Cut is at 6MB not 8....Also noted in my older Version of BI I have is Continuous +Triggered Each Maybe my Trigger setting is off some how. Doing Motion detection...

TY for the Reply--yup I am Green. I get clips on the left but the timeline used to give me Orange lines in the timeline that showed alerts..but now Timeline is just 1 big long blue bar. Using an older version of BI (a few years) a waiting a new MOBO and CPU to arrive.

I am continuous stream on my Cams (Direct to disk) but some how I lost all the alerts on the timeline. what did I screw up ? I have motion for alerts. ATM-- was messing around with the settings and went full on stupid I guess.........

Ha...It is still working. I am actually using it on that same Test Setup (my front porch) Try'n to figure out the FOV. Messing with settings so I can find out what Fixed cam I can use there. will start another Thread for that Q........

Have my test cam all set up..it got Clobbered by a Rouge straight line wind and fell over. You think a HD bucket and a 8 foot 2 x 4 with concrete half way full would have been enough. Cam took some damage( do not trust it ) so got another coming.
