Hi Guys I keep trying to activate substream 2 but even though I save the change every time the camera reboots it forgets this and the tick to activate gets removed. I've tried reseting to camera to defaults and then turn on substream 2, click save and then if I carry out a reboot it forgets...

Thanks i've managed to get this far setup voice monkey account, add skill to Alexa, then one you read the setup docs which is fairly straightforward, even for me...but i'm not really sure what to do next. What I want to do is when the camera picks up movement is display this onto my FireTV...

It does work but every 30 seconds it also keeps repositioning the ptz, so if I move the camera to position 4 when we are on “Timed Schedule 2 and position 6”.... every 30 seconds it repositions it to position 6 I need a way to activate one function without the other ..

So what I want to do is have the PTZ move to Preset 1 at 22:00 and then back to Preset 6 at 4am..that's it just two positions throughout the day. I have gone to the PTZ Function Tab settings ( see attached photo ) And then gone to Period Setting ( See second attached photo ) I've done the same...

no never resolved it seems to happen when the sun is reflecting of the windscreen of the car on the left ..i wish i could pick a focus point ?? the camera should use then it could ignore the sunshine

I have a couple of Foscam cameras is there anyway of adding these to the IDMSS split screen camera preview screen within IDMSS ? IDMSS is the only app I have that live streams perfectly, all the other apps stutter slightly when in split screen camera mode.

thanks for reply, no preset settings apart from the one that positions this angle...I’ve had the camera since December and all was fine..only thing I can think that’s changed is the sunshine here in the UK in the last month...could this throw out the focus ?

so the only way I managed to fix this was to update to the latest firmware and it working perfectly now.. I don't need to wait 30 minutes..I can stream up to the last minute

Yes both recording main streams but one set to H.264H and the other that doesn’t work to H.264..could that make a difference ?

Thanks Looney I have two Dahau cameras and both have the same setting of 30mins, one lets me view straight away and the other makes me wait 30mins...why does one let me and the other not ?
