I am getting a Demo Version on one of my BI PC's and it is still in licence. I have emailed support over 24hrs ago, but no reply. Is everything ok with BI team do we know?

I have often though that a "Restore Defaults" per individual BI tab would be useful. Still not sure I will have all the Web Server settings correct, but it is working so I am happy now.

As I dig around today in a the cameras individual settings, whilst UI3 was open in another tab, it was clear UI3 is receiving the image from the camera's sub stream. Found volume setting, bottom left of any camera viewed, but difficult to see as when off, it matched my image background by coincidence. Yep, did that, but it points to IPCamTalk BI section or help was related to the Desktop Server and not the Web Interface where my problem was.

I don't know why, but I just cannot seem to see the volume setting on web interface, so live viewing is silent, please could someone point me to the volume button as I am being extremely thick tonight!

Thanks @TVille , the files I need are 1.77GB (one hour blocks). But with the 8TB WD Purple having used just about 1TB allocated free space (due to my clips and archive error), I remain hopeful. Still running the Wondershare Recoverit software but not found anything new yet.

Thanks @wittaj I will consider this if I add more cameras, I have been thinking of using some old 2MP starlights since they're just on a shelf. Meanwhile, I think I will leave the FPS and bitrates. It is a dedicated system and I might as well have the best I can get footage wise.

Well thank you so much @wittaj @SouthernYankee my CPU and RAM are normal enough now. As a little tip for anyone reading in future, whilst setting up Sub Stream, I had 4 cameras to deal with. 2 cameras worked with sub stream straight away and 2 did not. Simpke fix was to delete the 2 that did...

Maybe I was mistaken in the "updated comment", but the BDL2-WP12G is not available in UK. We have ISC-BPR2-WP12. I think your model is for US, Canada, China & Russia. Perhaps it is because of 240V in UK, I don't know.
