Already tried all that. But since I can't power up the camera, I can't do a factory reset. But I did pull it inside and connect with a 5' patch cable to rule out cabling, tried a different POE port and different POE switch, no luck. It's dead. Waiting for Andy to message me about it.

Just to clarify.. I had 3 of the DF1241N-D2F2 and DF1241N-D7F8 cameras. They were all garbage. Keep in mind, the cameras I had were both thermal and NON-thermal combined. So each camera had 2 channels. You could do IVS events against either the thermal camera/channel, the NON-thermal...

When you want to view the HDMI output of the NVR, you can only do so by using a mouse/keyboard with whatever monitor/TV is hooked up the NVR itself. You won't be able to set what displays or shows up on the HDMI monitor from the web interface (meaning accessing it by IP) --- you will have to...

You still might need to bring the CBR down as Wittaj said, otherwise things might get a little choppy/slow since you have 6x cameras with bandwidth being used for the MAIN and SUB channel both. The gurus here that are much smarter than me tend to recommend H.264.

@wittaj is right.. If your user/pass is correct then try unplugged the ethernet cables for the channel 1/2 cameras, and see if after a little while the channel 5/6 cameras suddenly turn GREEN on their own. if they do, it's likely a POE power issue and the NVR can't supply enough for all 6...
