    Recording motion 24/7 yes but decreased sensitivity during winter do to high wind triggers. That being said able to record moving objects as small as squirrels.

    The computer and cam are on the same I.P. range. I can see it with my scan tool.

    I was initially able to change the cam I.P. to match the range. I also gave it a static not in use I.P. after performing a I.P. scan with a software tool. Even tried DHCP but still not able to access config page via browser I.E. & Chrome.

    Wondering why none of these 180 cams have IR illuminators built in. Would a separate IR illuminator work with these cams? Grown to dislike built-in led lights on cam due to the attraction of flying insects triggering motion recordings.

    Only white light I have is from a short led strip house number center above garage doors and neighbors lighting. Enough to allow both color feature and subsequently improve detailing.

    The banding is based on IR angle according to Jon from Tendelux aiming can mitigate this. My Dahua camera has auto or manual night color settings which shows color if there is enough lux.

    Interesting regarding single sided IVS. I think that would be fine for me but looking for below view also. Good to know about the wedge cam not be a fix. Looks like ""boobie"" cam or fisheye set to panoramic view. Thanks @ThomasCamFan.

    Fighting time settings on my Dahua IPC-HDW2831TM-AS-S2 camera.

    Did it last night so far so good. Odd but I specified mild reset but a complete reset on that cam happened which meant I had to setup the static I.P. and default gateway. Took longer than expected because I didn't notice the default gateway settings and mine were off by 1 number until later.
