Double check both your main-stream and sub-stream are using the same compression settings i.e both h.264 or h.265. I had the same problem on one of my cams whereby it would trigger and then stop after a few seconds, failing to switch to the main stream. On the wild hunt for a reason, I realised...
Perhaps obvious but is the gateway in your [host machine] network settings correctly pointed to your router? (eg 192.168.1.1)
I'm assuming no VLANs setup etc?
Have you tested other ports?
Yes that makes sense - POE will definitely make for a tidier install. Thinking out loud - I suppose you could just use a controllable socket and have the POE injector plugged into that in the AV cabinet. Unless you've got rock solid wifi, consider something like Quinetic switches (Quinetic...
Do you have power local to the camera? I think the easiest method would be to power the camera with 12V power supply into a standard socket and then end-users can simply toggle the socket. Alternatively you could spur off any mains circuit and have a dedicated 'light switch' labeled "stream...
As far as I know this hasn't been implemented in BI yet. Auto-Cycle still 'triggers' from any motion trigger, pre-deepstack. At least in my testing but would be happy to learn otherwise!
I believe the sensitivity has been increased/improved - I had a similar problem with one camera that I simply lowered the sensitivity settings (Object size/contrast) to combat the change.
Yes it's fairly easy and there are multiple tools/services available to generate them. As long as your home internet connection is decent I haven't seen this being a problem but it is not applicable to everyone. Per-app VPN would obviously be a great addition that would eliminate most issues...
You can create a VPN profile whereby it disconnects on specified Wi-Fi networks (LAN) and automatically connects upon changing to cellular or unspecified Wi-Fi SSID's. This means that you don't have to manually turn the VPN on/off.
Alternatively you could setup a reverse proxy and expose your...
Apologies! I'm not quite sure how I managed that :smash:
Thanks for letting me know and that it's not a problem.
Dolphin X is far from ideal, but was the only browser to play nicely with the older iPad/ui3. It's a wall-mounted display so wanted true full-screen. I'm replacing it shortly anyhow...
Hey BP! Over the past few weeks I'm getting these errors shown on my iPad using the new auto-maximise feature. It's on an old 2nd gen iPad with iOS 9.3 using MJPEG.
I've tested with UI3 running on various computers and doesn't show the errors.
It doesn't seem to be actually causing a problem...
