Teken Known around here Aug 11, 2020 2,039 3,579 Canada Apr 1, 2021 #4 It's a very good idea to protect the network cabling from a surge event its better than nothing in place. Only thing to be mindful is insure the RJ45 jacks support a full gigabit and not just 10 / 100 Mbps.
