So my equipment arrived... Lightning fast and ahead of schedule from Empiretec
Paid December 3rd... got to me December 13... From China to Louisiana USA.
DHL called me to see if I would be home to drop the packages, which I informed them I would not be. The driver said he would be in a neighboring town and could come back later. My mother happens to live in the neighboring town so I asked if he would bring the packages to her address... He obliged.. communication was good with the DHL driver..
Problem comes in when I get to see these packages... see attached images.
Boxes were wet, and had been through a lot to say the least.
The NVR front panel.. cracked and broken apart from the Unit.
Went ahead and connected up the NVR anyway as everything internally seemed fine, for front panel, just LED's and a USB.... installed a HD ... all came up and worked fine.
Bench tested each camera... all seem fine
Emailed Andy the disappointing news..... His response:
"No problem buddy
I will send you the panel and the board to replace, next Monday can ship out, i have to get the parts from dahua. "
My whole point of this post is to highlight the communication and support from @EMPIRETECANDY ....
the fact that without question he will send me the replacement parts. Which I know could have turned into me having to fight with DHL probably to no end !
IF you plan to buy Dahua equipment buy nowhere else... his communication and support would be worth a premium yet its still at an unbeatable price.
When you buy from him you do not just get your product but you get HIM, and the same time the support of this forum who thorough my research seems to be 100% behind him, and would make it hard to not be treated right.
