Has anyone had any luck with using Foscam cameras with a Hikvision NVR? I just wanted a basic camera for a small room and I had two Foscam laying around.

That should work as either ONVIF or a Generic RTSP connection.
Find the needed details by using the Windows open-source tool 'ONVIF Device Manager' from sourceforge.net
ONVIF port in the URL at the bottom of the Identification page.
RTSP URL at the bottom of the Live Video page.
And give ODM some valid logon credentials, top left of the window.
