Courtesy of our friends at Ring, we have a wifi camera catching the potential perps walking thru the neighborhood scoping it out.
They look up at the camera and say "f that camera we have face masks for when we come back tonight"
Then when they move, the wifi can't keep up and you get a pixelated mess:
And this is why we say to stay away from wifi cameras. Not much of this is useful except for the audio. But middle of the day and the images just don't cut it.

I think that Cam needs to be mounted at least 10 ft higher. /snark

Yeah, Nextdoor and the local facebook group is a moronic paradise.
I quit Nextdoor over a year ago, I got tired of attempting to get some of the dingbats to see the light about security cams. I grew tired of the abuse I got in return.

There are people who I think are more likely to livestream a fire in their kitchen than attempt to put it out or call 911.

According to the post on nextdoor, they were convicted. I don't think the "video" was much help.
