Try getting smart pss running on the lan before moving to the wlan. Wlan connection requires port forwarding (less than ideal) or vpn (more secure) or p2p (least ideal)

Same problem occurs when I connect the camera directly to the computer ...

Found the solution! The router needs to be connected to the internet when first adding the device (but it can be turned of afterwards). Also you might need to synchronize the IP adresses of the computer and the camera. Therefore set your computer IP to 192.168.1.30 (dahua camera standard IP). Then your device will be online. After that go to device CFG, click on the camera, go to network, TCP/IP and switch to mode DHCP. Then set the IP of the computer back to normal (DHCP) and everything should work just fine! 
I had a similar issue, where cameras were not showing up in my Smart PSS (On Mac Laptop). But the cameras DID show up on my phone app. Solution: the laptop had switched to a different wifi network. When I switched back to the network on which my NVR was connected, everything worked fine.
