Hello,

I'm looking for firmware for my IP camera since I have bricked it when flashing a wrong firmware to it downloaded from the manufacturer website.
BTW: the suggested file for my 960P camera is not available anymore at their download page at www.ipccam.com !

The camera is a IPCC-B13L 1.3MP 960P (Hi3518+AR0130)

The firmware that was on it: V2.0.6.1-X20-Build:20130928D

Hardware Version: 7100-ar0130_960P

If someone can give me ANY version of firmware for this camera I will extract the FW and try to put it on the camera via the bootloader with a serial connection.

Can someone help me with this?

I have tested the camera on serial output but there is no data, I tested serval baud rates but I asume it is 115200.

The camera consumes only 89mAh @ 12v this indicates also that it does not boot.

Is there a posibility to recover it via it's flash chip: MX 25L12835F

Is there a posibility to recover it via it's flash chip:
There is a fair chance you would be able to read/write the SPI NOR flash in-circuit, with the camera powered off, without needing to desolder the chip.
Easy enough to experiment with, using a test clip and a programmer. Reading and programming just takes a few minutes.
Here is what I've used for devices that use 8-pin SPI NOR flash, such as the Huisun Mini PTZ V2 :
1Pcs Mini CH341A 24 25 Series EEPROM Flash BIOS USB Programmer LCD Writer BS
SOIC8 SOP8 Flash Chip IC Test Clips Socket Adpter BIOS/24/25/93 Programmer CK | eBay

I have the required hardware, SOIC8/SOP8 Test Clamp-Clip.
As programmer I use miniPRO TL866A but it complaints when I connect to the flash chip something about a short or high voltage although the camera is not cannected and I even unload the caps with a resistor.
Next is to de-solder the flash chip I have no choise.

I am looking for firmware HI3518E Wifi camera 960p. To the best of my knowledge it supports Onvif but My camera has N1 Protocol.
