Hikvision Permanent Region Change

Sounds pretty straightforward. Thank you. Should this be stick-ied?

It's been covered a few times before in other posts lol

I can not update 5.1.6 firmware by tftp program...

I did my 2532f-i camera to factory reset.
PC/IPcam connect direct cable cat.5e.
PC Lan setting 192.0.0.128
power on 2532f-i camera.
launch tftp program.

it appear 192.0.0.128 message...
and power off ip cam and re-power on ip cam.

but tftp program can not find my ipcamera(192.0.0.64)
do not progress.

I did power off firewall(windows 7).
and de-activate anti-spyware program something.

why it can not progress after 192.0.0.128 message?
can you help me more?

thank you.

PC/IPcam connect direct cable cat.5e.
The process works best if the camera and PC are wired to a switch or router as normal, not connected together directly. And WiFi off on the PC.
Check your Windows firewall 'Advanced settings' to make sure that tftpserve.exe is allowed for UDP and TCP for both Private and Public networks.

thank you for your kindness reply.

how can I connect using switch PC/IP cam?
WAN : IPCAM / LAN1 : PC ? or WAN : PC / LAN1: IPCAM ?
or another something?

and next step is just do tftp? (PC IP : 192.0.0.128 / IPCAM : 192.0.0.64)

I forgotten Advanced setting allow tftpserve.exe. thank you.

how can I connect using switch PC/IP cam?
Using either the Ethernet ports on a network switch, or the Ethernet ports on your router:
A cable from the camera to the switch or router. You will need to power the camera with an external 12v power supply if the switch does not have PoE ports.
A cable from the PC to the switch or router.
Set the PC IP address to 192.0.0.128
Make sure that digicap.dav is in the same folder as tftpserve.exe
Start tftpserve.exe, check the window title says 'Hikvision TFTP server' and the status screen says ' ... initialised at 192.0.0.128'.
Power cycle the camera, observe the status information.

First thing I would tell you is don't, you have nothing to gain and a lot to loose in functionality.

OK then use this firmware below rename it digicap.dav

https://www.dropbox.com/s/hx3umuaq2cbmgh3/digicap.520 English?dl=0

But you were better off on 5.16

It has more features than any other version, as each update comes out there is less functionality.

Thanks very much. I had updated a CN Cam to 5.3. After that the cam had a mini-system. I updated 5.0,5.1,... and all but Version 5.1.0 worked with the chinese cam. After much hours I updated to 5.2 and changed the language in the scripts to EN but the iVMS didn't work with the cam. With your modification all was great. Thanks!

Well done for perseverance, happy to help.
