Hikvision DS-9632NI-ST can't login at the NVR

When I turn on the monitor connected to the NVR it's locked at what appears to be Camera 1.
It's like a screen saver but I can't get past it.

How can I get past this screen to login without shutting down and rebooting?

Right click the mouse for menus?
Double or single click the mouse to return to multi-screen?

Alastairstevenson, thanks for your reply; I've done that and then some. I don't even get a mouse cursor. I even tried plugging in a USB keyboard and hitting keys to wake it up.
I have since rebooted my NVR so I've gotten in but then next time it freezes I' stuck again.

I read another post suggesting rebooting on a regular basis, could that be my problem, not rebooting often?

Well, it certainly seems like it had frozen. In my experience, and most others I think, that's not common. My main NVR (7816) has been running for about a year now and has not frozen or rebooted in 18 months.
