Ds1616-E2 record length 24 hours only?

hi. I have a 4TB drive in my hikvision ds-1616-E2 and only have 5 4MP cameras attached. Regardless of the quality settings, I can’t seem to get the system to record any more than 24hours. It doesn’t completely fill up the hard drive and I can’t find any information that can help thus far. I’m also set to only record when motion is detected, so I would think I should get weeks of recording. Any ideas?

A long shot, but in the NVR web GUi, check for each camera Storage | Schedule settings | Advanced | Expired time and see if it's other than 0.
Plus - though I rarely use this - in the VGA/HDMI interface, there are more advanced expiry and retention settings based on groups and group memberships.
