Seems that the only way to fix the auto tracking is to change your camera.Hi, any idea how to fix problem with DS-2DE4A425IW-DE 6 auto tracking, latest firmware V5.7.11 build 230612, it looks like impossible to downgrade firmware .Thanks
Thanks for uploading that file, i was able to downgrade my DS-2DE4A425IW-DE from V5.7.11_230612 to 220831 using batch config tool. Restoring smart tracking ability.Hello my fellow HikVision owners!
Just created the account here as I read your tips before and felt the need to help back.
I have a great salesman who helped me with getting my hands on a working FW with “Smart Tracking” still in the menu!
I have JUST downgraded my DS-2DE4A425IW-DE (S6) to FW 5.7.11 build 220831 from FW5.7.11 build 220905 (this one do not have tracking!)
Have attached the FW.5.7.11 build 220831 with Smart Tracking as a zip file.
The tilting up I believe is better as it seems to go higher than the previous camera and I believe it zooms in closer. The specs for this camera match the other camera but as I said, the tilt and zoom is better.
I am happy with this camera.
What firmware are you on where your tracking is working so good like you say?
But MAINLY, what are your settings for the ds-2de4a425iwg-e where your getting this great performance?
Is iedereen erg blij met deze nieuwe camera als opvolger? Werkt de slimme tracking echt zo goed?
Another question: Can you transfer the settings you had in the 'old' camera to the new one or does the menu look completely different?
I don't meane transfer, but use the same settings, but i don't know or the Menu is the same. it cost a lot of time to set all the settings that everything is perfect (daily and night).I don't think you can transfer settings between cameras using "Import Parameters" unless they are the same model.
You can change that to -5 on the old -DE version (at least on the FW I uploaded)I think the older camera defaulted to 0 degrees max tilt... the new one defaults to -5 degrees:

I got it a few months ago, and I've been happy with it too... would be great if they could increase the sensor size to 1/1.8" for this form factor.
