Dahua camera and problems with new software

I have spent some time investigating the problem, so now I share the results.
The first step that caused the disaster was clicking "Update software".
The newest software V2.800.0000000.43.R, Build Date: 2023-08-29 (DH_IPC-HX3XXX-Leo_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.43.R.230829) was installed.
The first symptom was problems with opening RTSP live stream.
VLC very often failed at all.
MPV is more patient and opened the stream with about 20s up to over one minute delay.
It wasn't a network problem because I have two cameras in the same place and luckily only one was updated. I could compare the behaviour.
I will spare you the whole story the result of my investigations is that the software has serious memory leak.
After a system restart the camera works properly. The second day is worse and then degrades.
Solution:
1) I opened a case with Dahua support and they provided older software versions. I used DH_IPC-HX3XXX-Leo_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.30.R.210820
2) At first restart the camera (without this step downgrade fails).
3) Load the software over WEB interface.
Very simple, but a few days of my work to find out. I hope it helps you.

Are you saying the second, older firmware fixed the issue?
What is the Dahua camera model?

As said - in the long software identifier there is number 43 - that is the newest software - bad.
The other camera has 29 which works OK.
The software I got from support is 30 and seems to be ok since 3 days.
So yes - installing older software fixed the issue. That's why I provided the warning.

"So yes - installing older software fixed the issue" would have sufficed. :headbang:

One of the many reasons why a motto here is don't update a working camera. Many times newer firmware breaks or removes something you want or need.
