You spoofed the serial number.
Do I get the prize?
Did you have to downgrade the NVR firmware to v3.0.8 from the v3.0.10 to make that change?

You spoofed the serial number.
Are you blind? ;)
Why do I need to change the number, it is one and the same as NVR one and the same! It's my test NVR.

I have only NVR DS7108N-SN/P, NVR DS-7808N-E2, IPC DS-2CD3332-I

What your talking about? ;)
Serial number as confirmation made on one and the same model NVR

I made different firmware for this NVR 3.0.6, 3.0.8, 3.0.10.
Customize it. Change Chinese to English or Multilang

Not blind - in this thread you are showing 2 x 7808N-E2 each with different serial numbers.
I thought that maybe some aspect of capability was embedded in the serial number, which could be adapted by changing it.

Why do you want it? ;)
Hi ituneDVR
Just interested to see how you did it. I'm always interested in seeing how people more knowledgeable than myself have done or changed things.

It will also be of interest to other forum members.

OK - I see now. The first part of the serial number is the number of channels, and maybe the build date, then maybe some region codes then maybe the actual serial number.
So what changed was the number of channels - not the rest of the serial number.
I did not look closely enough.

Of course it's very intresting for all, but I'm sorry, I do not do the training and do not reveal secrets, because this is not necessary.
I just showed that it is possible and has raised the bar higher. ;)

The serial number and model has not changed, change the number of IP channels. Was 8IP, and therefore 16IP as in the model DS-7816N-E2 and work was as DS-7816N-E2. Do you not understand ???. ;)
I write and take photos with just one model DS-7808N-E2! ;)
