Remote management setup-no remote tab in status to add another server

Ha! I had to uncheck remote management under the user, click OK to exit, then go back to user, re-check remote management, click OK to save, it pulled the configuration of the remote server and I can now see the other BI installation.

Remote management setup-no remote tab in status to add another server

It says user must be admin and authorized for remote management. Both admin and remote management are checked for my login and local console account.

Remote management setup-no remote tab in status to add another server

OK, I took the leap, entered a password for the local console, shut down the console, and restarted the service, and there is now a remote tab in the status window! Thank you sir!

Remote management setup-no remote tab in status to add another server

So I enter in any password, the password to the BI user, or the Windows account login password? And when I do this, the remote tab will appear in the status window?

Remote management setup-no remote tab in status to add another server

It seems I do not have one. My user has a password, but the local console does not. I do not remember setting up an "admin" password within Blue Iris. And if I add a password to the local console, will I have to enter it every time open it?

Remote management setup-no remote tab in status to add another server

I have 2 Blue Iris 5 installations on 2 different computers, both comptuers are on the same LAN. I'm trying to set up remote management from one BI5 pc to the other BI5 pc. I've searched videos and read the BI help file, but when I go to the status page, there is no remote tab for me to add...

IVS alerts recorded to camera SD card but do not show in Blue Iris

I would never have noticed had I not been checking functionality of all the cameras, and started noticing alerts on the T54IR that I would not see from one or both of the other cameras. Under normal circumstances, I would not be reviewing one camera to see if another camera had missed alerts...

IVS alerts recorded to camera SD card but do not show in Blue Iris

Thank you. These cameras are set up as you describe for the ONVIF events. I get the rule detection alerts in Blue Iris. What I can't figure out is that on a daily basis, there will be a couple recordings on the SD card of an IVS trigger that is not shown in Blue Iris, but for the most part...

IVS alerts recorded to camera SD card but do not show in Blue Iris

I installed Blue Iris 5 on a secondary PC for me to test and learn with before rolling out to my primary PC as an upgrade from version 4. I've been testing for about a month. There are 10 cameras, 8 of which are Dahua, 3 of those are IVS enabled. The version of BI5 currently running is...

    Logitech Alert cameras in BI

Even if you did get the apk it may not work with the later version of Android. I'd stick with @wittaj suggestion of using Blue Iris UI3 or getting the app.

IPC-Color4K-T where to find SMB / network storage configuration?

Click the "home" button next to IP camera, then click the record button in the lower right hand corner of the next screen. Then you should see the last "tab" that says storage, which will lead you to this. I just started testing some of the more advanced features of the camera, since right now...

    Mini-Review - 5442-ZE-S3 AKA T54IR-ZE-S3 - Replacement to 5442-ZE

Do you know why the image settings on the live screen are different from the image settings on the camera tab? Does yours do this?

    Mini-Review - 5442-ZE-S3 AKA T54IR-ZE-S3 - Replacement to 5442-ZE

Thanks @wittaj, I've had my T54IR-ZE-S3 up for a couple weeks and overall I like it. I'm disappointed in the IR. It seems very hot spot towards the bottom of the frame rather than dispersed. In the location I have the camera I can actually turn the IR off, customized scene, run 20ms, B/W, and...

Recommendation for Equipment for 24 Simultaneous Cameras with Recording.

Any mainstreams I pull are 2MP, any substream I pull (if the camera has the option) is 2MP or less. 12 cameras run 33% CPU of Intel Core i5 9600K. I just haven't gotten around to moving to BI5 yet.

Recommendation for Equipment for 24 Simultaneous Cameras with Recording.

@wittaj I don't want to hijack the thread, so just for clarification, your recommendation to turn off HA is applicable to Blue Iris 5 only, correct? Because it utilizes dual streams. What is your recommendation for Blue Iris 4 users?

EmpireTech 2023 Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday Sales Nov.20-24th

So this will be the first time I am interested in participating, I have purchased many cameras from Andy. Because of this, I do not need to purchase a camera to purchase tickets, correct? But if I purchase cameras, I will receive extra tickets. Am I reading this all correct?

Firmware QCN8026B QSee IP HD Camera

I won't attach to the post, I don't think that's allowed, but I will work on putting them someplace and DM you the link. I'll try to get this done in the next day or so. I'll leave that link active for a week.

Firmware QCN8026B QSee IP HD Camera

I have these files archived from my very first Costo Q-See kit system. I don't think the kit came with the 8026B, but I "upgraded" a couple times and know I owned a couple 8026b at one time, before moving to Dahua and Blue Iris. I know that Dahau was the OEM for Q-See cameras. I honestly do...

Comparison between PTZs - the 49225 versus 49425 versus Mini-PTZ - mailbox checker

If one were so inclined to move up to the $500-800 class device, would the SD5A425GA-HNR being 4MP on 1/1.8 sensor, be the go to option, as well as better IR distance?

BlueIris with 8MP 4K (IPC2128SR5-ADF28KM-G) video looks like 1 FPS

OP is using H.265 encoding, best practices are to use plain H.264, not H.264B, not H.264H. And IMHO, don't mix encoders (some cams H.264, some cams H.265), Blue Iris doesn't seem to tolerate that well. All cameras set to H.264. Use CBR, match FPS and iframe. Set at least 8192 Mb/s for 8MP. Do...

Configure new cameras at one location for installation at another

Exactly my plan. I need to configure 3 cameras at my house, then my dad is going to install them tomorrow at a different house while I am at work, so I want to have the cameras ready to go when I give them to him.

Configure new cameras at one location for installation at another

Is there any reason I can't configure a new camera at one location for installation at another location as long as I assure it is a unique IP address or use DHCP then change to static when at the final location?
