I have alarm inputs used for my driveway alert and whole house security system. I did not try to downgrade through RS232 yet. This "upgrade" is terrible. I hope there's a patch for it soon. I'm looking at switching to Blue Iris as soon as I find a decent computer for my needs.

So if I'm getting this right, going from 265 to 264 will probably free up some CPU speed and possibly make the IVS work better and at the same time, won't really affect storage that much.

It's almost as if the NVR needs a setting to disable doing any kind of updating to the cams. I'm fine with using a browser to access the cams by IP to make any adjustments necessary.

The ones that I have show the Dahua name on them and have metal bases. The base separates from the turret dome with a single Torx screw. When checking firmware, it shows they have the latest. Came purchased 2/2022 on AliExpress from a seller who claims to be a legit Dahua reseller.
