Only MD will Push to DMSS - Not IVS...

I guess that firmware is a custom specific release, normal releases are using zeros at the position of "1CKA" , see custom firmware screenshot below Maybe you found the "jackpot" firmware where they fixed the IVS push? It seems you are the only one with a 4.002.xxxxxx firmware that has IVS...

Only MD will Push to DMSS - Not IVS...

@Bumworms I have reacted in this tread , i also did not get the push notifications from IVS. In my setup I do not use P2P and added my NVR as a local IP to DMSS. So still using one of the first V4 firmware release and I do receive all MD and AI events as a push message on my phone ( if enabled...

    SD22204T-GN Firmware Update Issue

To make a summarization of the confusion that is created by Dahau to use the same type number DH-SD22204T-GN for units that have different hardware revision, in this case the size of eeproms to store the firmware. As mention by @Dave Lonsdale and @TVT73 So cameras made before 2017-2 will have...

DHI-NVR5216-16P-I firmware update / issue with emails and mobile push notifications

@xxxlolo Can you check for a setting called "disarming": Disarming should be disabled, For the push notification, Mobile Push Notifications should be enabled. Screens can look different on your firmware version , but just check for the main items.

@Domparisi I have encountered the same issue on the NVR4216-I when installing the latest firmware DH_NVR4XXX-I_MultiLang_V4.002.0000000.1.R.220211. No IVS notification on DMSS App anymore! Went one version back to DH_NVR4XXX-I_MultiLang_V4.002.0000000.0.R.210811 , also no IVS notifications...

@EMPIRETECANDY Thank you for your feedback. For the P2P function, it will be set back to enabled every time you will do a reboot (also a scheduled reboot), it is not related to set settings to "default" or "factory default".H Sorry , will verify again. For now it seems to work correctly...

    Groundloop noise/ buzzing nvr speaker

@Cctvrole Did you test your speaker with open input, the plug not connected, or already connected to your nvr? What if you short the input , so directly connect the yellow and white wire together, is the hum then less or gone? If not, then the power supply used, is not clean enough on the...

DMSS and it's bugs - it drives me crazy!

@istyle0978 Alright , with the information you provided I thought you where pointing to the general function of selecting presets of a PTZ Cam. I don't have any "auto track" capable PTZ nor do I have any experience with the "auto tracking" functionality, so can not comment on its behavior in DMSS.

DMSS and it's bugs - it drives me crazy!

@istyle0978 Just verified in DMSS if I can change to my predefined presets of a PTZ with a little help from this video. It is not the easiest way of changing preset's , but it does work.

IVS Rule Config Tripwire IPC-HFW5442T-ASE-NI no email Empire Dahua

@bertnl I have enabled the email functionality on one camera for some tripwire/intrusions and noticed that in some cases I also don't receive a start Email with a snapshot, only the End email. Can the email function or AI function not keep up with all the triggered events? To see if AI does...

IVS Rule Config Tripwire IPC-HFW5442T-ASE-NI no email Empire Dahua

@bertnl That is a good question , never checked this behavior for the email function with snapshot. I expect that for every triggered tripwire, an email will be send (2 emails total per event: the trigger and End mail). If a snapshot is or will be attached to an email could be depending on NVR...

IVS Rule Config Tripwire IPC-HFW5442T-ASE-NI no email Empire Dahua

@bertnl As far as I know, an email will be sent when an "alarm event" starts and when the "alarm event" stopped ( End). So yes for every event, 2 emails will be send. @bertnl So you receive a test email when pressing "TEST" in your NVR? - Then did you enable the email function ,if not you are still able to send a test email but the email functionality is not enabled! - Enable also the "send email" function in the IVS setup in your NVR. That should be...

@lemmcgrath From the information you shared , I would say there is nothing wrong with the connection. Hi @dcmkii , You mentioned : "I just rebooted my NVR and the funny thing is that the last camera on my list is now assigned with the 192.168.0.20:10080". logging into camera help (IE icon)

Hi @dcmkii Well, that behavior on a NVR with PoE seems normal. When ever you connect a camera to one of the NVR PoE ports it will assign automatically an internal IP address. The link of the IE icon is then generated automatically by the NVR in a format: "NVR-IP":"port#" ( port number from...
