I did restart the router, in fact if you turn it off and save it forcing the router to reboot, more or less I think port 80 is open on my router somehow for external admin login, even thought that is turned off on the router

Remote management is disabled, I also went back to the NVR and made sure any outward to NOIP and one other was closed, it's still strange it open like that, I will check again later today, Thank you for feedback ;)

I turned of UPuP thinking that would fix the issue, and it didn't so guess I need to contact netgear and ask why the router is showing up on the internet.... I know pretty strange

Well not sure what's going on, but my SVC-B-3201 v5.3.0 camera is now acting the same. I can't login and the reset tool doesn't seem to be working ? UPDATE: TG these SVC-B cameras that use Hikvision firmware have a reset button on the back, so I had to reset the camera back to default...

Thanks for the great information, I ran shields up and the only found issues on the service port, so I went ahead anyways and turned off port triggering and turned off UPnP on my router. I am glad it had the backdoor for the password reset, but otherwise I bought all 8 of my cameras on ebay not...

Update - used the reset tool and it worked, still not sure how I got locked out of the camera, but I am guessing most of my cameras are running old firmware not sure if I should update them or leave it alone?

I could get in, I just couldn't change the names of the extra users and admin, so I did a default reset pretty sure, then installed new firmware.. You have to type your normal password, but have to select the messed up admin name to get in if I remember right. I still haven't changed the names...

Thanks for the reply, I just reset everything to default and installed the USA firmware, that fixed everything, I then install the UK version it works better .... Only issue I have now is to rename the default camera names, any quick way to do this since they have been added to the NVR..

Hi All, I was on my router and noticed a bunch of traffic on my cameras IP port adddress, I am not sure if this normal or not so I will post parts of the log. My camera is hosted via no-ip.com for outside password access viewing, so wondering if someone is trying to bot scan or something else...

Update since replacing the v3.4.3 USA firmware with the UK NVR_K41_BL_EN_STD_V3.4.90_161008 firmware, no reboots or issues so far :)

I never had this issue until I updated to the lastest USA firmware 3.4.3 I am guessing is it leaking memory and max's out and reboots, this is pretty common on computers and devices when dev does poor coding and of course QA doesn't catch it... Think they need to QA the QA and dev teams, this...

I can say last time I went from the Multi Lng firmware to the USA firmware it wiped all my settings, but I also see the Hikvision website says you have to upgrade the firmware in order of builds you can't skip one.. Thats kinda scary
