When I set it to "open desktop window" it makes no difference. Double clicking still does nothing. When I double click, I need the camera to maximize in my second monitor like it used to.
I'm having the same issue. Just upgraded from 4 to 5 and double clicking camera no longer moves it from my my side monitor to the main monitor. I don't have maximize or auto cycle enabled. There's a new setting in cameras called "double-click". When I set it to "open desktop window" it makes no...
Many of my co-workers with unifi networking added cameras because they're "all-in" on the eco system. That's how.
I already had BI and many different brands of cameras plus many of my cameras are integrated directly into my home automation system that is agnostic to my networking topology. The...
Years ago, after the VB635 was discontinued by Sony, I happened to score two new sealed units on ebay for $199. List price before being discontinued was $2000. Despite it being discontinued, I thought it was a very good deal. Since then prices have gone through the roof on this camera. I still...
Do you think the SD6AL433XA-HNR with the 1/1.8 sensor is going to be have the same tracking performance? And can you get human specific notifications which something I don't have even on the Hikvisions?
How's the nighttime performance? I'm slightly surprised at that price point it doesn't include a 1/2" CMOS like the more expensive Hikvisions. I'm not sure if the spectacular nighttime performance of my Hikvisions is solely because the sensor or if the optics or even special processing has...
FYI, if we're comparing Dahua and the Illuminati which are about the same price, the Illuminati is far more reliable at locking onto subjects but it will NOT zoom which is unfortunate. The Dahua will zoom in but has a far harder time locking onto subject and when it does half the time, the half...
Apparently that is the case unless you were selective and picked the 10% of the time that your Dahua tracked successfully and not including failures.
Can you show me a screen shot on your Dahua settings that allows you to pick "Human" tracking over other object types?
SD59225U-HNI.
How do you set a "human" filter". In Smart Plans, I see Heat Map, IVS, and Face Detection.
In IVS, I see Tripwire, Intrusion, Abandoned Object, Missing Object.
I'm waiting for a second hand sony snc-vb770 to come up for sale at a reasonable price. It would eliminate the need for auto tracking and extra lighting of any kind :)
Make sure to watch this one on a large 4k monitor. It's clear from this and the lack of motion blur that license plates will...
Yea, it's not cheap and the $1100 was some rare smoking deal that seemed to good to be tree given the camera lists for $3700.
If you want the same tracking but in a smaller camera, you'd need something like:
DS-2DE4A225IW-DE from a USA dealer.
And then there's the import option for a lot...
DS-2DF8236I-AEL.
I bought two of them two years ago from a USA authorized seller with US serial numbers for $1100 each. The POE brick failed on one of them 6 months into it and Hikvision sent out a replacement. Hikvision USA doesn't like to deal with the end user but if you tell them the...
My Hikvisions are still rock solid on tracking day and night. Not only that they zoom in properly to moving subjects unlike my Illuminati and Dahuas. The Hivisions actually work and are reliable 95% of the time. The Illuminati is reliable about 60% of the time but doesn't zoom in on subjects...
My rooftop Unifi APs on my roof get me about 30 Mbps up/down on 2.4 GHz 600 feet away from my house. I'd like to locate a few cameras remotely. This is not situation where I can stick to my usual wired/POE policy.
Has anyone had any luck with out of the box cameras that recharge on solar and...
Yes, although it appears to power up on 24 VAC directly just fine but I can't use that in the deployment. So it's not totally dead but the POE power converter in the camera is.
