    Out of memory error?

Interesting, I just tried this for my New folder and I use Alerts. BI automagically created subfolders in the Alerts folder as well using the path configuration for New.

Same here, upgraded to 5.4.7.10 and working fine now.

    Blue Iris UI3

I'm seeing this too with UI3, seems to affect Chrome and Edge, on both PC and Android. If you pause and unpause the playback, the audio works. Very odd bug. Doesn't affect BI console itself for me.

3.0.25 working great on my Pixel 5, they finally fixed the audio issue. Running BI 5.4.3.12.

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

Definitely not getting 100%, but in my usage case, the detection reliability is high enough that I'm happy with it. I'm in an urban environment with lots of ambient light and I have motion activated security lights as well, so it's actually pretty good for detection. It's going to be different...

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

This is why I went with AI. I only get notifications for people setting foot on my property. Otherwise, it's still useful to have triggered captures to be able to check on things, like when those ^%$@#% racoons show up and crap by the side of the house. I was happy to jump on the bandwagon...

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

Here's a detection I didn't expect, a person and the bicycle they were riding. Cool that it can tell them apart when they're captured together. (Yes, my fence is dirty, spring cleaning project for later this week).

The new updated android app has been pushed to the play store

I updated to the new version last night. It's mostly fixed, still a little buggy. If you have audio already enabled for a camera, the audio works as expected. If it's not enabled to start with, the icon is greyed out until you swipe away and swipe back. Then you can toggle it. I've reported...

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

In my usage case, it was a simple swap and I've found Deepstack to be better with regards to false alerts. No tuning required for what I want out of it. The hardest part was going into each camera config to change the AI setting to Deepstack instead of Sentry.

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

I've switched over to Deepstack from Sentry. Sentry tended to give a lot of false alerts since you can't tune anything. Deepstack is tuneable, and I expect that the BI developer will continue to improve the integration and tuning abilities. I won't be renewing my Sentry sub, which is expiring...

    Tester for CCTV Cameras

There are cheaper versions. I bought one of these, which also has a cable testing function: https://www.amazon.com/WSDCAM-Portable-Discovery-Firmware-1800ADH-Plus/dp/B07DHCDD99/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=B07DHCDD99&qid=1617731428&sr=8-1 I'm not a professional installer, but it's been very...

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

I gave up on the people detection for the same reason, kept triggering on cars passing through frame outside of the defined detection area. BI + Deepstack does a way better job.

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

I jumped on the bandwagon and deployed Deepstack (CPU mode) on my dedicated i7-7700K BI system. It seems to be working well so far using the default settings. It was super easy to set up, install Deepstack and enable in BI. Perfect timing for this since my Sentry subscription is coming up for...

    DB1 not ringing chime

The power rating of that transformer is too low. From the EZVIZ DB1 product page: The input voltage for DB1 is 12~24VAC, to work with chime, please use at least 12vac,1 Amp adapter/transformer. I ended up having to go to a 16VAC 30VA transformer for my chime to work reliably.

Good find with the swiping, I can reproduce this behaviour too to get around the bug. Still haven't had any update from BI after I supplied them with more info.

The new updated android app has been pushed to the play store

Report it via feedback in the app. I have the same issue and have provided troubleshooting info to the developer, but still not working as of the last version, 3.0.23. Same behaviour on three different makes of Android devices with different Android versions too. The weird thing is that the...

Mobile app notification only vibrates but no sound

Make sure you submit feedback via the app so support knows about it. I've been working with support on a different audio issue, can't turn on audio on live or playback unless the camera is in a group.

The new updated android app has been pushed to the play store

Everything's working well with one exception for me. I can't get audio on camera views or playback. The speaker icon is greyed out and doesn't respond to taps, other buttons work fine. Tried on 3 different Android devices with different versions of Android, same result. I've reported it, but...

Swarm of insects or fine mist

I ran into this last summer when there were forest fires in the area. Lots of particulate in the air which happened to collect and swirl around in front of one particular camera. Increasing the trigger time helped a little, but the thing that worked the best was to disable IR on the camera...

Are domes that bad for outdoor?

Yep, had this happen to me once, kept fogging up inside overnight and I had to replace the dessicant pack to fix it. I've now switched the domes to eyeballs, no issues and it's also much easier to aim a turret camera.

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

Here's what i've discovered changing from the RCA version of the DB1 to DB1C (using BI): DB1C has wider field of view, the main reason why I switched, see top of this thread for examples DB1C doesn't have an IR dome for people to mistakenly press instead of the door bell button, never happened...

No report last night, might be broken again, sigh... Guess I have to open another ticket. Update: Now it's working again (didn't have a chance to open another ticket yet). Guess I'll just keep an eye on it. Latest: There's definitely something broken at the back end. Reports are showing up...

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

Just wanted to share some things I discovered while troubleshooting a problem I was having with my DB1C dropping out and occasionally restarting. I wasn't sure if was Wifi or power related. I eventually ruled out Wifi as the issue. For what it's worth, the DB1C works great on 5GHz. I...

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

It's definitely a nice upgrade from the old DB1. Wider angle view and clearer video than the DB1. I'm having Wifi dropout issues which are likely due to the transformer (Unifi AP sits within 10 feet of the doorbell and no other devices are having Wifi issue using that AP). I had upgraded from...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I just did the same replacement and only swapped the doorbell, using the original power kit and leaving the new power kit in the box. Works fine. I haven't opened it up, but it looks like the same power kit.

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

I'm not in a really busy location, probably a few cars an hour pass by. The way my house is situated and how the doorbell is mounted results in a view where the road is horizontally right in the middle of the picture. The detection area is configured to be the bottom half of the picture...

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

Well, I gave up on the human detection and disabled it. I thought I had it working, but now that it's dark out, cars driving by triggers it, even though the car is outside of the marked detection area. I tried clearing and resetting the detection area as well as lowering the sensitivity...

    Review: EZVIZ DB1C

After lowering the sensitivity one notch lower than default, the human detection seems to have improved. It's definitely ignoring the area outside of the painted area now and triggering correctly.
