    Latest BI lost PTZ

Thanks, when I get some time, I'll give it a try.

    Latest BI lost PTZ

I have it configured to use generic ONVIF, which has been working for years. I tried changing to Dahua with no luck either.

    Latest BI lost PTZ

When I updated from 64 bit Blueiris v. 5.5.9.2 to v. 5.5.9.3, I lost PTZ function on my Dahua SD49225H-HN camera. Rolling back to 5.5.9.2 restored operation. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Running on Windows 10, 64 bit.

    Can't login with BI3

I figured it out. We have Teamviewer running on that PC and it uses port 80 which caused the conflict. I switched BI to a different port and all is well. I don't know why we didn't have a problem with the BI app though.

    Can't login with BI3

I can access this system fine with the BI app on my phone, both locally and remotely, but trying to login with a browser using UI3 fails with " You don't have authorization to view this page. HTTP ERROR 403" It brings up the login page, but won't let me login. I am using the same user name and...

Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

A 5 foot distance for the 12V should not be a problem. The 120V supply is not a problem either as there is very little current being drawn and it is running a switching power supply, in fact you could probably run it with hundreds of feet of extension cord. As cheap as power supplies are, I...

Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

Even though your 12V power supply seems to be rated for enough current, I still suspect a power issue. The reason I say this is you say it quits when you touch any controls. When you do pan, tilt or zoom there are motors that are activated. Motors have quite high inrush current and if there is a...

For what it's worth, this is my camera configuration that is working fine; 2.623.0000000.7.R.R4.2510.9A.NR, Build Date: 2018-11-24 WEB Version3.2.1.662493 ONVIF Version16.12(V2.4.3.580229) PTZ Version3.02.93.RHNZ_170518_22722 S/N4M01717PAJ41872 Safe Baseline VersionV1.3 How are your camera and...

Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

I have one of these that has been running since Jan 2019 without a single hiccup. I run mine from a dedicated 12V supply. My reasoning is that with the pan & tilt motors and high power IR LEDs, I wanted to be sure it had enough power.

Camera Faceoff: Dahua Starlight IPC-T5442TM-AS vs Hikvision ColorVu DS-2CD2347G1-LU

So the Pixel 3 beats both dedicated cameras. Doesn't say much for either of them.

Absolutely! The old ways are dead or dieing. Maybe something like AAC in MP4?

Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

You're right about the latest Chrome. Back when I first set up the cameras you could still enable NPAPI, but that is now gone. The thing I wish there was an answer for is the lousy IR range. I believe the IR is not aimed the same place the lens is, as it looks quite bright at the very bottom of...

Dahua 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera (SD49225T-HN)

I have had this camera running for a while and it has not dropped connection to BI, rebooted or failed which is nice. I am, however, a little underwhelmed for the price. It replaced an infamous Huisun which failed, but while it was working it did a better job than this Dahua, and being much...

Thanks for your reply. I really like this camera's specs and I guess I''l just roll the dice and take my chances. Can't be any worse than Huisun :)

When you buy a camera from Andy (or anyone) at Aliexpress is there really any warranty, as it costs a fortune to send anything to China. If it breaks will Dahua USA warranty or are you just SOL?
