Have you identified from my posts something I have set incorrectly? This is a server that's been in service FOR YEARS, and not until recently when I had to rework the storage did this issue present itself. And the issue is replicable.
Sure, I realize that. It's a temp solution until I rework a recent storage challenge. I suppose I could shuck the drive.... I also deleted clips.dat and rebuilt from scratch.... same issue but new timestamp
Are these what you are talking about?
I don't know what combine and cut means...
I have a simple tiered storage solution - new recordings save to local storage, then archive off to a USB-attached HDD. When the file sits on the local HDD the date modified matches the .bvr filename. When the housekeeping runs to archive it to the USB HDD the date modified changes all files to...
Hello All, having some trouble flashing my Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-28MM to Dahua fw. I've pulled down both DH_IPC-HX25(8)XX-Molec_MultiLang_NP_V2.800.0000000.19.R.200628.bin and DH_IPC-HX25(8)XX-Molec_MultiLang_NP_V2.820.0000000.28.R.210323.bin but both begin uploading, filling in a progress bar...
Everynight at 2AM I get this. Nothing seems to be wrong so far as I can tell. The compact/repair option is checked for each day. If that's not fixing it what's the course of action?
Does anybody know of a way to set vlan tags at the camera? The switchport interfaces are trunk ports expecting tagged not native vlan frames. I cannot find a GUI option to set this.
I'm using multiple Hik DS-2CD2042WD-I 4MP all running v5.4.1 build 160525
Thanks.
Bummer. Yea I'm using DtoD with 1080 @20fps. 1 cam runs at ~13-17% CPU. 2 is ~24-27%. 3 is ~33-39%. That's with the GUI minimized, no clients connected, no active recording. If a cam triggers it bumps from there to uncomfortable levels. I could drop to 720 @15 if I had to. I'm running in...
Ive been running Blue Iris a while. Tired of the hardware demand i tried the Hik PCNVR software. It left a lot to be desired. question is, do the Hik hardware NVR units run the same software as PCNVR? It would be a cheap enough experiment but thought I'd ask. Thanks
