I've just started to use this, and am generally happy to continue to do so - need more experimenting though.
The CPU usage now hovers around 10-15% instead of 0-3% which I can live with.
One annoying issue is the full screen live view has become remarkably "stuttery" - even on main stream at...
Looking in Edge >> "settings" >> "default browser" >> add cams, by URL, under "Internet Explorer mode pages". Seems to work - though I might be mislead. I'll find out soon when one of my mis-functioning camera triggers again - I had it not to record out!!!!
Thanks. Very informative, though a little over my head.
I was hoping there'd be a glimmer of explanation in settings as to why one of my Dahua cams will trigger but won't PTZ (though in a wildlife position - not Human/Vehicle). I had a heron walk upto it and fill almost 60% of the image - but...
One is back out working. The attached photo was taken last night - zoomed to around 10 metres.
The second 225 still in ITC, it'll work but only with an external power supply - debating whether to swap out the rj45 connector.
What can I say - I don't read widely enough- I was obviously just lucky in choice with the first 100metres - CCA elsewhere on much shorter runs (<50M) didn't alert me ......
At least the replacement is advertised as solid copper (in capital letters) and 23awg.... Will test it out with the cam...
Sadly CCA, 24awg - but another 225 works well at 105 metres - probably not good enough for the 425.
The other at 105metres is on solid copper 24awg - not too sure why I didn't repeat that order!
That's what I intend to do this morning, after I get the new 425 back to factory reset so I can access the gui.
(This 225 was originally on a 15 metre cable until it malfunctioned).
