XML password reset

Anyone know what information I need to send to Hikvision to get the XML reset file? Is it just the xml file, or do I need to include any further information in order to get them to respond?

Anyone done this successfully as an end user?
 
Is this a camera or NVR?
If a camera, what's the firmware version? (You might be able to extract the password)
It's just the XML file reset request extract. Only valid if you don't reboot the device.
 
NVR. I can create and download the XML, but wasnt sure what to do with it. I through I saw an email template somewhere, but the hikvision site seems only to give a support email address.

I need to do it on the morning through, so I can get the file back and import it same day.
