Dear IPcamtalk.com,
Geting the below error for this site when using my phone.
I do not get this issue when using my computer or tablet but cannot figure out why my phone does not trust you? o_O

Using Chrome browser on android phone. All apps are updated. Clearwd cache, reset whatever I could find to reset.

That's really weird, can you try clearing your cache and cookies? Our SSL certificate expired a few months ago for a few minutes, but that shouldn't affect it. Try in Chrome Incognito mode and see what happens.

Go to developer's menu (or press F12) and go to Security tab to get it.

I'd say chrome on your phone needs it's root certs updated.

So, same thing in incognito mode...
No dev menu or F12 option on Android phone Chrome browser.
How do I make the phone update the root certs?

it should just be up to date unless your version of android is really old. another more sinister possibility is that you are being man in the middled and the cert you are getting is from a hacker who is decrypting the connection to the site, for what reason? i'd have no idea, lol.

I have cleared everything I can find to clear in the app itself and in the app manager area of Android but it still no trust you...phone says Android ver 5.0 and not indicating any further updates yet available.
Chrome ver 55.0.2883.91

I may just uninstall\reinstall Chrome.

Yeah!...Maybe like the alert says, Hackers may REALLY be trying to steal my info...hmm.

my phone is up to 7.1.1. but 55 is a pretty recent version of chrome, try reinstalling the app and see if that helps.

Unlikely unless you're on an un trusted network (eg. public wifi)

Tap the blue words "certificate information" in your screenshot and take another screenshot.

certificate information is too much to screen capture effectively...It shows 3 different certs, all have valid dates.

Must be some way to update the cert trusts for the OS or some other config.

Can you post a few screen shots of the cert information?

Does this happen on every IPCT page?

I wouldn't rule out some form of malware on your phone. Some free privacy type VPNs are basically malware and can mess with your certs (but not root certs).

Try another browser on your phone like firefox just to see what happens.

If you tap certificate information in chrome, you should get a screen like this:
upload_2017-3-11_0-5-9.png

If the info you see is the same as what I posted here you've got some sort of issue with root certs/crl on your phone. If the info is different, I'd say your network is compromised

Not sure why samasung wont update my model yet...prob the usual trying to push to the next new model....cell phones are way too $$$ for me to upgrade and Im not going to do themonthly payment sucker game and end up paying $600-800 for a new one.

Mine is not rooted so unless there is a way to fofce the update I may just format it and start over but I hate that reloading all my apps pain...maybe Ill take it into Verizon and let them fix it vs more wasted time
