Which one of these 4k models are Starlight with upgradeable firmware ?

IPC-HDW2831TM-AS-S2 vs IPC-HDW2831TMP-AS-S2

The only difference in the model number is the letter "P" (TM vs TMP )

Are they both starlight with upgradeable firmware?

Thanks !

It depends on who you buy them from.

I don't know who Hitosino & Valucam are. But if you bought them from @EMPIRETECANDY they would be upgradable.

Label on box...Did not setup yet just wondering if the "TMP" model is starlight and firmware upgradeable

I just bought this one IPC-HDW2831TM-AS-S2 on ebay. $98 and got it in 4 days. Was quite surprised. Says it is up-gradedable, English version. Works like a champ. However, I do believe that fenderman is correct. If you want very good night shots and video, you can do better.
For me, it is good enough and I am quite pleased with it. Keep in mind, my cam is somewhat high up. The screen cap isn't all that either.....

FYI - "S2" versions have smaller sensors...

@bigredfish has a review at his good light places, watching good!
Our link sell also S2, just try to keep the model No. as simple as possible, this mode lnever have S1, dahua's name is bit strange. Firmware can be updated.
If places has good light in the night, 4K is not a bad choice. But if poor light, use 4mp IPC-T5442TM-AS or IPC-T5442T-ZE
