Where can i find a working firmware for my DS-2CD2432F-IW camera ?

Hi,

After a fucking bad update of the firmware of my chineese camera, i'm looking for a working firmware (5.2.5 i guess) ?
Wher can i donload it ?

After the update with the file 5.3.0, i can see the camera in SADP but the software version is 4.0.8 build 140610 :-(
The device serial is DS-2CD-Min-System012....
The camera has the adress 192.0.0.64
I can ping this adress but i can't browse it
If i change the settings and i reboot the camera the settings return at the default value :-(
Can someone help me ? I don't know what i must do!

Yes you bricked the camera down to mini system.
Follow my brick recovery guide if you failed the mtd hack.
If you just tried to load 5.3.0 onto a chinese camera just tftp 5.2.5 onto it.
Then do the 5.2.5 mtd hack to make it all English again.

I try to follow your tuto.
I have already 2 problems... :-(

When i start ftpd server.exe with your file 5.2.5, the ftp server start the initialisation and then stop.
i launch the ftpserver logged in admin, my pc ip is 192.0.0.128 , mask 255.255.255.0 and the firewall is disabled

Where can i find my mtd5 & mtd6 files ?

How are you connecting to the camera, data cable direct or through a switch?

The best way to connect is via a network switch with a static IP set to 192.0.0.128 on the PC.
If you a using a loptop make sure your wifi and firewall are both off.

And your digica.dav is in the same folder as Hikvisions tftp

No, what must i do with your tuto with the mtd2 & mtd6 files ?
Of course, i don't have those files!

I just checked it - seems OK still.
*edit* I didn't check well enough - a CRC error on the last file when extracting. Sorry.

Hello, are you sure is multilanguage? I tried with my camera and with 5.2.5 switch in china language (( Back to 5.2.0
 
@Mike Yes, it has English. For the date, i don't know. @onetech. By me, everything is in english. In the firmware i can choose +/- 30 languages !

It will be English for camera date 01/2015 only. Then you need to do the mtd hack for 5.2.5 if you are on a different date, then your English.
