lots of knowledgeable people here! I hope you can help me as well.
I plan to set up a weather cam that shoots down from my cottage onto the ocean. The bay is almost 1/2 mile away.
Lots of direct sunlight during the day! Need to monitor the wave height.
Do you know of a consumer camera that can handle this situation? Should I use a 4mm lens, or is 12mm better?
