I solved it!
I had to search for active x controls on Blue Moon, then install it, then it let me into the camera settings.
It was slower than molasses. I was able to look at all the camera parameters but it took 4 minutes loading.
Camera video did not load but it wasn't what I was looking for.
I just looked at your system, and noticed you are running "as a service".
I might try that, but my
Blue Iris is only running between 0.5% and 4.5 %, while my CPU is only running between 1% and 5 %.
My problem is my 2 ANPVIZ cameras.
One of them has crystal clear resolution and I am running (viewing) it only on mainstream because the picture is crystal clear.
Because I liked it so much, I bought a second one just like it.
That second one started giving me problems by gradually loosing mainstream keyframes and then totally loosing connection every 10 minutes or so.
I installed a brand new Cat6 cable for it, but that solved nothing.
Then I returned the 2nd one to Amazon and ordered a new one again.
That did the same thing. Then I returned that on for a new one. Same thing.
Then a 3rd one. Same crap.
Now I am done with Anpviz.
Since these cams are all rebranded Hikvision cameras, I can imagine someone buying a boat load of their rejects, resetting them and reselling them.
Of course I arrived at this conclusion because I have similar problems with other tech merchandise. I am however willing to keep trying this purchasing procedure because Amazon takes back defective products and credits you.
I have had similar experiences with routers, even good brand ones like NETGEAR.
For most people my way of buying cheap and returning is not efficient and is time consuming, but I am on fixed income and in no hurry, they are better off just following the advise of the knowledgeable board members here.
