Video Distortion at NIght

Hello, I recently installed an outdoor Avigilon camera at one of our Skate parks. Video is great during the day but at night the video becomes a bit distorted. The camera is mounted to a light pole about 2 feet below the lighting fixture. Assuming the distortion is related to the lighting fixture. Picutre isn't bad as dusk after the light have come on but once it is completely dark the distortion is noticeable. Are there any settings I can try adjusting to improve video quality at night?

Kevin,

It's due to the fact that the lighting fluctuates in intensity with the power line frequency, and 'beating' with the rate that the camera image sensor is being read.
Does the camera have any PAL/NTSC selection? If so, try changing that to see if it makes a difference.
A long shot, depends on how the sensor is read - but also try changing the frame rate.
