Hello,
I have a Hikvision NVR (DS-7608NI-k28p) with 6 cameras on site, but I would also like to record to an offsite location outside of working hours. The idea is to have a backup recorded in real time in case something happens (theft, fire, etc.)
I've tried all applications I was able to find and by now, I almost feel it's impossible, even when it seems to be such a simple task.
I've tried the "iVMS-4200 Client" with which I was only able to see the cameras live and click on the record button, but that won't help me schedule the entire thing. Maybe there's a setting here I was unable to find?
I've tried the "Hikvision remote backup" but this one only allows me to backup older copies of the recordings, again not useful in my case.
At the moment I'm trying to configure a NAS server through OpenVPN but it's quite the work and I don't think I can schedule the recordings on this server either (as far as I can see from the NVR menu).
Isn't there supposed to be an easier option to achieve this? Am I missing something? Can anybody point me in the right direction please?
