I contend this is low information thinking and so far from the real reason as to be laughable..

He's doing it because he got too close to the real truth of how completely corrupt and fake our government is. He saw first hand many of the lies. Likely some even he can't talk about.

I truly think he said to himself, "If not me, then who?"

He said in an interview that he was genuinely in fear of being un-alived....

All Elon asked was to cut the waste highlighted by DOGE and a level playing field for vehicles and energy, without subsidy. Let the free market decide.

But the administration and congress specifically did the opposite. To top it all Trump directly attacking Elon Musk personally went too far.

If you look at the time line, when Elon was only criticizing the bill, it was Trump who first took direct aim at Elon.

Tesla showrooms, car sales, stock price all took a toll because he backed Trump and at the end of his tenure at DOGE. He got a big pile of nothing for his efforts, he just got the opposite.

If Elon can get enough seats in both houses, they can finally force the Uniparty to abandon the big pork filled bills, vote separately. Then you get to vote out the traitors to their own mandate that they won on.
