Hi,
I've been going around and around in circles all day and still can't get this problem sorted.

I've got Hikvision 7604 with a 2142 camera and both work fine.
I can't access the camera settings online, only by logging into NVR with LAN and laptop.
Camera IP is 192.168.254.6, my IP is 192.168.1.1 so I try to change camera IP to 192.68.1.11 etc to be on same network but it reboots back to default
SADP only shows NVR and no camera.
Any advise please?

The network interface of the PoE ports on NVRs use a separate IP segment (192.168.254.x) from that of the LAN port, as you have discovered.
The PoE network segment is isolated, and by default is not accessible from the LAN, which is why your camera appears inaccessible.
If your 7604 and the firmware is has supports it (and I'm not sure for this specific model) the easiest solution is to enable the 'Virtual Host' if it exists. I believe the tickbox is under Advanced Network Settings.
If that works - you have what you need.
If not - there are a few threads on the forum that cover methods of accessing PoE-connected cameras, some more difficult than others.

I don't have virtual host on this model.
I managed to get SADP to finally show camera and changed it to 192.168.1.108 ok
This lead to another problem where I'm at now in that I can't see the camera from my NVR monitor, it's showing "no link".
Doing a NVR reset got the image back, but I'm back to square one in that IP is back to 192.168.254.6
I've been reading up all day but can't find my specific solution yet.
Thanks for the link and taking the time to reply

Just to update...
I can log into iVMS-4500 on android and access camera with 192.168.1.108 on both WiFi and data, now I'm back on 192.168.254.6 it will only work on WiFi not data for some reason. Oh hum.
