I cannot get past the fact that there are no categories for the BI Reddit forum, like one big file cabinet with no folders, everything thrown in...or am I missing something?

Yeah I agree. What a hot mess the forum must be with posts. I doubt there can be much support to questions with posts getting lost in the fray.

No there aren’t categories or folders on Reddit.

Not a mess. All posts are generally answered. Traffic isn’t high though so nothing is lost and easy to navigate.

The largest subs have hundreds of posts per day. Reddit works on a voting system. Upvotes keep popular posts higher in visibility. Downvotes move posts out of view over time.

I am not a Redditer, but highly prefer a structured forum over Facebook groups and general posting.

My company's customer forum doesn't have a breakdown of categories and I hate navigating it for support.

I have been on Reddit for a while and they shut down subs all the time. Most likely if we had the same political chit chat in there the angry libs of Reddit would get it shut down. A honest substitute for this forum that is pretty solid is Discord. You can use it on the web or an app.

There are tons of dirty delete posts on reddit as well and can really make following along hard.
