Today one of my DS-9664NI-I8. having problems connect to the camera. I have a separate PoE switch connected to port1 and port 2 connected to internet. whenever I deleted the camera while the nvr connected to the internet. it got a error "the user is locked". I deleted the camera and do it again. same thing happen. disconnected the internet. and try again. it's work. I also disabled the illegal login in the camera setting. now all cameras is online. if I reboot the cameras. It will show message again. all cameras are OEM hikvision 4mp turret with firmware 3.3.9 to 4.40. I can login the caemras with the laptop connected to the poe. Thanks for ready my poor English.

I have similar issue.
My hikvision camera is out and catch signal with wifi.
NVR is connected with LAN cable to modem.
My home network is 192.168...., and NVR WIFI catching only 172.18...ip adresses.

The camera WIFI IP worked before with 172.. . Then I
was change in camera WIFI IP address to 192.168., but problem is becausei set ipv4 Default Gateway to 192.168.1.1 (there was empty before),
and my NVR only accept getaway's from 172.18.1.1 :/

What now, Can I change some setings in my computer and repar that trought wifi without cables!?? (camera and nvr not close!).

@dany , is this the same Wi-Fi NVR you got 'new' and posted about on Saturday in another thread? If so and it's an Acesee brand you might seriously consider returning it and refrain from wasting your time and money on no-brand cameras and NVR's, especially 'wi-fi nvr's'.

Their website brings up 'about:blank' when looking for support documents such as downloads, manuals, quick guides, etc., an indicator of a poor product. If a company cannot even provide a decent website or support page then they most likely cannot provide decent surveillance equipment.

On Oct. 13th @mat200 provided you with links to learn and links to good cams. I highly suggest you use them.
