Still not sure on I Frame interval settings ?

Guys what I frame interval settings are you running your cameras at ?

I'm running 3 Hikvision 4mp cameras at 25fps , I have my Iframe Interval settings at 13

Read conflicting reports , some say the I frame interval should be half your FPS , others say double the I frame dependent on FPS

Any advice appreciated

The proof of the pudding is how the video looks - especially with movement, which is where the periodic i-frame full refresh would show up worst as it 'pulses'.
The common ground for a compromise between bitrate and pulsing visibility seems to be to match it to the fps one-to-one to give a one second 'pulse'.
